The Taligent BorderPanel Widget allows Java programmers to surround their graphical elements with a variety of border styles. The BorderPanel Widget supports solid borders, 3D borders, and etched borders. Not only is it cool....its free!

the frame to the left. Over the coming months we will introduce Taligent
technology in the form of Java and C++ code, samples, and documentation.
To get things started with a bang, we are including a Java applet (complete source code) that provides some useful added function beyond AWT. We developed the code for our own use and then realized it would also be useful to others.
